Integrated Approach
DIEM ENGLISH GLOBE offers an integrated approach to English language learning, with grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking combined in the daily lessons. We offer activity lessons for extra practice and help.
After the student has taken the placement test and has been placed in the correct level, he or she is ready to start. Our courses offer 108 hours of instruction (+make-up), with a quiz after 24 hours, a midterm half way through, another quiz after 78 hours and a comprehensive final that includes listening, speaking, grammar and writing. The student must achieve 60% in order to pass to the next level.
General time schedule envisaged for Diem English Globe programs is as follows:
6 hours a week
1- Beginner Level à108 hours
2- Elementary Level à108 hours
3- Pre-Intermediate Level à108 hours
4- Intermediate Level à108 hours
5- (*) Post-Intermediate Level
6- (*) Pre-Advanced Level
7- (*) Advanced Level
8- Post-Advanced Level à120 hours
(*) To be able to reach the ultimate goal, "Post-Advanced Level", one should attend additional 120 hours classes for each level in between.
